Consultancy – Review on the Status of Implementation of the ACERWC’s Concluding Observations on Kenya’s Second and Third Periodic Reports.
About the Consultancy
As a State Party to the ACRWC, Kenya is obligated to implement the Committee’s concluding observations. Instructively, under the ACRWC, Kenya is expected to submit its next periodic report in 2024. As such, The Eastern Africa Children Rights Network (EACRN), in collaboration with the Africa Platform for Social Protection (APSP) are seeking to engage a consultant to undertake a review on the status of implementation of the ACERWC’s concluding observations on Kenya’s second and third periodic report.
The consultant will first undertake a desk review of national and county-level child rights policies, legislation, regulations and programs, then conduct key informant interviews with both state and non-state actors to determine the extent of implementation of the concluding observations
