Mission Statement

To create partnerships with Civil Society and other organizations to engage with the Governments and International Development Agencies (IDAs) to develop and implement innovative Social Protection strategies and pro­grammes that make a difference in people’s lives in Africa.

 The Social Protection Actors Forum (SPAF) on 30th May 2012, held a Validation Workshop for

their Advocacy Campaign Strategy on Social Protection at the Silver Springs Hotel, in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop whose objective was to review, amend and validate the Advocacy Campaign Strategy brought together various platform members as well as government officials who were taken through the proposed Advocacy Campaign Strategy that would put Social Protection on the lips and hearts of the society through a planned Nation-wide public campaign in the months to come.
